< The Space Between 2023

Working under artist Rebecca Louise Law, to produce a large-scale, site-specific installation for the IF : Milton Keynes International Festival 2023. Spent three weeks leading workshops with members of local communities and the general public showing them how to make the long strands of flowers that were then used to realise the installation.


This role afforded me the opportunity to build skills in Community engagement and communications, as well as foraging and drying flowers, and artistic decision-making with regard to hanging flowers and colour palettes.


I also, helped with the de rig of the installation, having to work efficiently and carefully to maintain the integrity of the work and learning about proper handling and storage of artwork. This was especially important with the floral and plant strands which will form part of Rebecca Louise Law’s touring collection.
